Real Time Classes with an experienced teacher. The classes are warm and friendly. I aim to bring you to a place of stillness, calm & build strength. 

The classes are not recorded, they are one offs just like in a studio, we sometimes stop and workshop something if needed,  I teach intuitively to the energy and needs of you.

I focus on fun, strength and flexibility, using a staged approach for different levels so you will be able to develop in your own pace in class

PRICING:- Drop In & Essential Oil Classes - £6.50

 5 Class Pass (to be taken over 7 weeks) £30

MONDAY - [book your space]

6.15-7.15am Wake up Energising  Flow taught by Karen: Roll out of bed and start the day. The class will flow in this order...Meditation, Gratitude Practice, Breath Work, Flow (This will be more sun salutations and dynamic than a traditional Hatha Class).We will not end with relaxation as normal, I aim to have you ready to start the day. 

 19:30-20:30   Hatha Yoga (All Levels) taught by Karen - Suitable for all levels, we always teach stages & alternatives towards. Flowing sequences are sometimes included. This class will  improve your arm, leg, core and back strength, increase flexibility, and give your mind a bit of space to breathe! 
  

WEDNESDAY - [book your space]

19.30-20.30 Hatha Yoga (All Levels) taught by Karen - Suitable for all levels, we always teach stages & alternatives towards. Flowing sequences are sometimes included. This class will  improve your arm, leg, core and back strength, increase flexibility, and give your mind a bit of space to breathe! Please note that I may work this class a little harder and work the core a little deeper and stretch certain key muscles that get tight from sitting and running. This class is advised for Runners, as I get asked a lot. A tight muscle is not an efficient muscle

THURSDAY - [book your space]

11.15-12.15  Hatha Yoga (All Levels) taught by Karen - Suitable for all levels, we always teach stages & alternatives towards. Flowing sequences are sometimes included. This class will  improve your arm, leg, core and back strength, increase flexibility, and give your mind a bit of space to breathe!

19:00-20:00   Yin taught by Karen - A floor based practice, using props if needed. In Yin Yoga, we work on the deep connective tissue in the body and the joints, to keep them mobile and as healthy as possible. Each posture will be held between 1-8 minutes. A time to go inside and really connect with yourself. A very powerful form of self healing, this system works alongside the Chinese Meridians which are worked on in Acupuncture. In Yin, we place ourselves in shapes to stimulate these meridians which balance our emotions and also improve the function of our internal organs.

Serene Sunday Sessions - Monthly Restorative Yoga, Breathwork & Deep Relaxation - (Pyjamas Optional) taught by Karen -This class is 90 minutes of bliss and costs £10, come along to the serene Sunday sessions to let go, to stop, to find a pause.

If you want to sleep deeply, try this class! Most students say they had the best nights sleep after this class and their mind is able to let go.

With the intensity of modern life, we can easily become disconnected. Restorative yoga is a delicious way for us to reconnect. The class combines philosophy and science. Using props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease, we explore the power of stillness and silence. The class opens with some slow gentle movements to bring some fluidity into the body, progressing to a series of restorative poses and breathing and meditation practices. The practise closes with an extended savasana (relaxation) to enable you to let go completely. By dedicating time to rest deeply, you will gain more energy, reconnection and creativity. My aim is to bring you back to you. BOOK YOUR SPACE

Learn how to manage yours and your Childs emotional and physical wellbeing returning to school in these times that are more stressful than normal and get a first aid package and book to get you started.

Learn about the benefits of mediation.

Receive a beautifully cute package in the post of some pure essential oils (doTERRA) to aid relaxation and meditation. Learn why these oils are different, the 3 ways to use them to enhance your life and get to have some to play with.

Experience a short seated meditation and a longer guide relaxation, and some breath work to soothe the nervous system.

I am so excited to share these practises with you that help me so much.

The workshop is scheduled for an hour but might go on a little longer, depending on questions and what comes up in the class, so please allocate some time for this.

The classes run in zoom, the link to access the studio will be emailed to you when you book your class. 

Tips: -
-Download Zoom app https://zoom.us/ register, enable audio and video.
-The studio will open 10 minutes before for community, support, and to ask any questions etc.

If you like music, I send you some links to a choice of Spotify playlists, you are welcome to play these whilst the class is in flow, as you will be muted for the class, at the beginning and end we will have the space to speak.

I met Karen after a friend mentioned following her on Instagram. I found her yoga class easy to follow, some lovely elements of fun and very spiritual. At a time when not a lot is the same, Bamboo virtual yoga classes have kept one thing constant in my life - yoga. It's also brought my yoga practice home. Until recently it was something I did, and enjoyed, outside the home. I'm now practising yoga and relaxation in a new environment but feeling even more part of a community. Nourish You - Online Retreat with Complimentary Restorative Yoga Class

We can't all go to retreats, especially not at the moment in the current environment. Nourish yourself is about creating pockets of space, moments here and there of deep self care and retreat to keep yourself nourished, topped up, which can change your whole day. 

We all have some time to dedicate to ourselves to nourishing ourselves, we just don't. We put others in front of ourselves, if we never have rest, stress can become an issue, our emotional, mental and physical health suffers. 

I look forward to teaching you easy and effective ways to manage and reduce stress and anxious feelings. 

Start to make time to nourish your body. mind and heart. You are enough, you are worthy.

You can listen to the training and complete the self work when it suits you, but it is about making some space in that day for you. Once you start, it is easier to find it over time,

Welcome to Bamboo Yoga Oils Life. I'm Karen the founder, I have been practising yoga for well over 25 years, I qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga BWYQ Level 4 500 hours yoga teacher training and have so many more teachings under my belt (i'm a bit addicted to learning) . I love teaching yoga as I know how much it helps me and is such a big part of my lifestyle. It is a transformative, healing, and empowering experience. I have also had breast cancer twice and several surgeries, so I really understand the impact that life can have on the body and emotions and the healing power of yoga. As I am always learning and healing myself, I cannot stop teaching! I am also a life coach, essential oil educator and holistic therapist, teaching and sharing the tools that keep me going, have you the saying ...I bend so I don't break...it's yoga that keeps me bendy in body and mind.
